GOLDEN COLLECTION · 303 JOKES · 23 CATEGORIES

The largest and oldest collection

The Golden Collection is the heart of the site: 303 classic jokes arranged into 23 categories, from barroom one-liners and animal antics to lawyers, doctors, school days, computers and the great battle of men and women. It is also the home page, so it is the natural place to start. Read one category at a time from the sidebar, or simply scroll and let the jokes come to you.

SUPERB COLLECTION · 84 JOKES · 9 CATEGORIES

A shorter, hand-picked set

The Superb Collection gathers 84 jokes into nine easy themes: marriage and family, Sardar jokes, technology and work, blonde jokes, religion and the afterlife, animals and pets, travel and adventure, bars and drinking, and everyday wit. It is the quickest collection to read from beginning to end when you want a short, reliable laugh.

SILVER COLLECTION · 153 JOKES · 11 CATEGORIES

A gentler, everyday tone

The Silver Collection offers 153 jokes in 11 categories with a more everyday flavour: couples and marriage, office life, doctors and medicine, school days, travel, food and drink, and shoppers and neighbours. It ends with a section of darker and adult humour, so the lighter material comes first and you can stop whenever you like.

The widest range of themes

The Ruby Collection spreads 123 jokes over 13 categories, the broadest spread on the site: family, marriage and relationships, friendship, office life, money, travel and a generous helping of quick one-liners. If you are not sure which collection suits you, Ruby is a good place to browse.

About this website

Every page here is a single self-contained HTML file. There is no database, no build step and nothing loaded from other websites, so pages open quickly on a phone and keep working even on a poor connection. The site contains no advertising, no trackers and no accounts, and nothing is ever asked of you beyond reading.

Jokes are organised by theme rather than by author, because most of them have been retold so many times that their origins are lost. Where a joke is well known in a particular tradition - the Sardar jokes, for instance - that tradition is kept in the category name. The collection is meant for grown-up readers: several categories contain adult humour, and each page tells you so before you start.
